We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Our chairside staff is composed entirely of Certified Dental Assistants, and each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Cindy is the long-term veteran of the front reception desk. She has been in that position for many years, and can answer most of your questions regarding insurance, contracts and appointments. She has seen three of her children, as well as herself, go through braces – so she can also relate to clinical problems or concerns from your perspective!
Adam – the rookie of the reception desk – is a lifelong resident of Anchorage. He graduated from West High School in 2010. Adam is a twin and comes from a large family where he has 10 brothers and sisters. In his spare time he enjoys hunting and hiking with his family and friends. Adam is a former patient of Dr. Julien’s and is very handy to have around the office…especially when we need something off the top shelf.
Krisi works in our chair side/clinical area. She has been a dental assistant since 1999 when she joined the U.S. Air Force. Krisi has two children, Faith and Myles, and grew up in Valdez. After joining the Air Force, Krisi had the opportunity to live in both Japan and Germany. She has recently moved back to Anchorage to be with family and we are very grateful to have her!
Chrissy – a.k.a. Grandma – also works in our chair side/clinical area. She has an extensive dental and orthodontic background, in which she has worked as a chair side orthodontic assistant for over 35 years. Grandma is the life of the office and, if you’re lucky, you might get to hear her wonderful vocal abilities as she sings along with the radio!
Jennifer is a great addition to our chair side/clinical area. Jen arrived in Anchorage in November 2010 all the way from Aberdeen, Scotland where she was born and raised. While in Scotland, not only did Jen earn a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, but she also became an RN and spent 3 years as a geriatric nurse. If you would like to hear her great accent, ask her about her hobbies - Jen loves to play video games and also likes Anime and Manga.
Cy is the newest addition to our chair side/clinical area and is a recent graduate from the Dental Assistant program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. Cy has lived in Anchorage for over 12 years and graduated from East High School in 2008. Cy’s favorite thing to do is play soccer and relax with friends and family. He is excited to start his career in the orthodontics field and loves meeting and working with all of our patients.
Heather is our Treatment Coordinator and will be one of the first faces you see when you come in for a consultation. She is an Air Force spouse and originally from Tennessee where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 2006. She has over 4 years of marketing and sales experience and loves to meet new people. If you have questions about your treatment plan or financials, she is the person to see!
